The Scene I Think Should Have Been in Sherlock the Other Night

gracierocket:

INT: THE TUBE TRAIN, WAITING FOR THE BOMB TO GO OFF.

JOHN: Why didn’t you tell me?

SHERLOCK: You had your own life to get on with.

JOHN: No. No. There is no way that even you could think…

SHERLOCK: You were busy with - with what’s-her-name, the one that…

JOHN: You let me…

Ugh, Sherlock, can we please stop setting up every female character as dislikeable in some form or fashion?

Not that they actually are (Molly Hooper and Irene Adler fanclub 5ever), but it’s just such a gross obvious attempt at telegraphing How We Are Supposed To Feel about the characters and it’s just icky.

If Sherlock was an animated show.

I took random screencaps from A Scandal in Belgravia and redrew them as cartoons.

Wow, this would be gorgeous as a cartoon!

"You take this cold, remarkable, difficult, dangerous, borderline psychopath man, and you wonder what might have happened to him had he not met his best friend, a friend that no one would have put him with – this solid, dependable, brave, big-hearted war hero. I think people fall in love, not with Sherlock Holmes or with Dr. Watson, but with their friendship. I think it is the most famous friendship in fiction, without a doubt."
